My Bio
From the age of three, DeAnn Sanders knew that she was going to be a singer. Anywhere there was a microphone, DeAnn would find some way to get to it. She would try out for all singing parts in school. She would perform for weddings, family gatherings and local venues, such as Little Nashville Opry, the Mitchell Opera House, as well as other places around Nashville. DeAnn has performed in just about every genre except for Opera.

DeAnn is a very versatile artist. Her biggest influence would have to be her dear Uncle Randy. He would come along with a Gibson guitar and a book of songs that he had written. He introduced DeAnn to early 70’s Folk music. They would be seen in small places around town, singing till the strings had broken or she lost her voice, which ever came first. He has since passed, but she will never forget him saying “DeAnn you have a gift that few people have - I want you to use it.” He told her the only thing he wanted was a dobro. She has vowed to make that wish come true for him. As she performed one of his songs at his funeral, she could just envision him smiling down on her.

DeAnn returned from Nashville, where she met with the gifted and talented Mark and Donna Moseley from Sound Control Studio. She recorded the original single “Nothing Like A Good Rain” written By Bob Dellaposta and Sherry Garland.

DeAnn is getting rave reviews, and is currently charting on "SoundClick" within the Country Top 20. She will be returning to Nashville, to record her full debut album. She is currently getting advice and looking for songs that will fit her style. She would love for you to listen to her song and give truthful opinions as well as advice. DeAnn just recently returned from Nashville, where she recorded her original song, It's My Life. This song was written by DeAnn Sanders and her friend and co-writer David James, currently residing in Chesapeake, Virginia. Please stay tuned for more news.
